LipoDissolve FAQ  

Q:  What is the active ingredient in LipoDissolve?
A:  Phosphatidyl Choline – a substance that occurs naturally in our body. When injected into fat, it starts a natural fat-dissolving cascade.  

Q:  Is the LipoDissolve procedure painful?
A:  Dr Jepson uses tiny needles to inject the LipoDissolve solution under your skin into the layer of fat that lies underneath.  The needles are so small that some people don’t even feel them.  After the procedure you can expect mild aching in the injected areas for 1-2 days and moderate amounts of swelling.  

Q:  Are the results permanent?
A:  Yes.  The injected fat is destroyed permanently.  With time gravity can pull more fat down to your jawline from your upper face, but this takes several years (at which point the procedure could  be repeated)  

Q:  How soon can I expect to see results?
A:  It generally takes about two weeks to visually see improvement.  The fat then slowly continues to dissolve and the skin continues to tighten for about 6 weeks after the procedure.
