 Dr Jepson uses an Erbium Laser to treat acute acne outbreaks.  Individual acne lesions are targeted by the laser.  Acne lesions heal quickly with reduced risk of scarring and discoloration.  This approach is much safer and less painful than cortisone shots (popular at dermatology offices).  This treatment does not reduce the frequency of acne outbreaks.
